Olympic 2000 - Show Jumping
Extensive highlights tell the story of two spectacular showjumping competitions, in team and individual. Germany emerged triumphant from a close battle in the equestrian team show jumping, two clear rounds for Otto Becker letting them defend the Olympic title they won in Atlanta. The Germans won with 15 faults to Switzerland's 16. Brazil grabbed the bronze in a jump-off with France. The Swiss claimed their first jumping medal since 1924, but their final rider, Willi Melliger on Calvaro V, could not erase the one-penalty deficit.
