In Movement Awareness for Riders you will discover that it is amazingly simple to improve your riding skills. In his role as a sports scientist, Eckart Meyners has developed an exercise program beginning where most riders experience difficulties, i.e. they are tense and transfer this negative tension to their horse. Right from the outset, this 6-point program, which is designed to help the rider achieve better coordination and a more relaxed seat, has a noticeable impact in terms of removing tension, blockages, rigidity and muscular imbalance.
The DVD offers solutions for typical riding problems, in addition to various warm up exercises for riders.
Eckart Meyners, lecturer in Sports Physiology & Movement at the University of Lunenburg in Germany has been researching the mechanics of movement as related to horse-riding for over thirty years. He trains riders, riding instructors and judges for the German Equestrian Association [Deutsche Reiterliche Vereinigung (FN)], as well as teaching courses all over the world, including in the USA. He also trains with Heike Kemmer (winner of the Olympic Dressage individual Bronze Medal and team Gold Medal), who demonstrates several warm up programs in this film. |
