A sold-out crowd witnessed the FEI 2007 World Cup Dressage Finals in Las Vegas in April and watched Isabell Werth of Germany riding Warum Nicht FRH give a sterling performance to become the FEI 2007 World Cup Dressage Champion. Werth also won the World Cup title in 1992.
Imke Schellekens-Bartels of The Netherlands riding Sunrise finished second, slightly ahead of the 1996 Olympic Team Bronze medalist, Steffen Peters of the United States, who was third on Floriano. Werth was placed first by all five judges, receiving two artistic scores over 90.000%, and a perfect 10 for music and interpretation.
Don’t miss all the excitement from Las Vegas on this truly memorable DVD. The FEI World Cup Dressage Final has been held in the U.S. only twice, in 1995 in Los Angeles and 2005 in Las Vegas. The competition has been dominated by the Netherlands who have won seven times, followed by Germany with six wins. Debbie McDonald on Brentina won The United States’ first title in 2003.
