Dressage to Music (the Kur) has been one of the most successful new sports in Equestrianism over the last decade. At the 1994 World Equestrian Games in Holland the “Kur” attracted the largest crowd in the main arena during the whole two weeks of the Games.

The first World Cup took place in 1986 in s’Hertogenbosch where the great Danish rider Anne-Grethe Tornblad (nee Jensen) won the first Nashua World Cup title on the brilliant Marzog. Eight years later Anky van Grunsven brought the house down in The Hague when winning on Olympic Bonfire in front of her home crowd. That famous victory was the tenth “World” title to be won in this most elegant of sports since dressage to music was first introduced as an international dressage discipline.

So sit back and enjoy and then compare the first ten winning rides in World Championships.
