The story of Rodrigo Pessoa, the world's number one show jump rider. From early day footage of Rodrigo on his pony, to many of his unique successes in International competition. Rodrigo first competed in 1981 at Hickstead, and and in 1988 he competed in his first of many Grand Prixs.

 

In 1992 he was the youngest rider to compete in the Olympics at the age of 19. In 1996 he again rode in the Olympics in Atlanta and helped Brazil win the bronze medal -- and in '98 he was the youngest World Champion at The World Equestrian Games, in Rome.  Pessoa took the World Cup three times in a row and finished as the reserve champion the fourth year, a world record and has been a medal winner at The Olympics from Barcelona to Athens.  Approx. 47 mins.
